When it comes to planning an extended family session there are a few things to consider; when can everyone agree on dates, location, weather, what to wear, and a few other details. I know this isn’t always easy. My family doesn’t live close together but I know what it means to get everyone in one place to celebrate. Truly, I don’t think we always need a reason to come together but it’s a bonus if there is 🙂

The Calhoun family were great to work with, honestly, so much fun! The weather wasn’t on our side. It was raining and I believe it actually was raining for the whole week leading up to our session. I knew we needed the capture this time for them. Everyone was in town and life just gets busy. Sometimes just having the right attitude and right location to provide  shelter from the weather is all you need. Definitely isn’t ideal but it worked and that’s what matters.
